FLOWER OF MARTIAL ART SUBLIMATED INTO ART: KUKKIWON TAEKWONDO DEMONSTRATION TEAM

Launched on September 6, 1974, the Kukkiwon Taekwondo Demonstration Team has spearheaded the globalization of Taekwondo as a diplomatic delegation as it tours more than 130 countries around the world.

Kukkiwon Taekwondo Demonstration Team has been touring all over the world from it’s establishment in 1974. The Team has performed Taekwondo Demonstrations in more than 120 countries since it was founded.

They are also touring around 10 countries every year in order to introduce Korean culture and spread Taekwondo globally. Taekwondo Demonstration itself has a diplomatic value and it helps enhance the value of Korea and Taekwondo.

In addition, the KUKKIWON Demonstration Team presents a new model of Demonstration including the Traditional way of performance. It has a regular demonstration for international tourists visiting Korea to contribute to the tourism industry as well.

By leading and creating a new Taekwondo demonstration culture, the team is devoted to spread the Taekwondo culture and promoting Korean culture worldwide which contributes to enhance the cultural value of Korea, the home to Taekwondo.
