WOMEN & GIRLS ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT

The recognized club show a strong commitment to advancing opportunities for women both on and off the mat.
To be eligible for this award, the nominated club must be a current USA Taekwondo member in good standing.
PARA-ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT
CLICK TO APPLY, opens in a new tabThe Club of Excellence Award for Para-athlete development is earned by the USATKD Club that is actively recruiting para-athletes. This category recognizes clubs who create a positive environment that para-athletes would enjoy, participate in and excel within the sport of taekwondo.
To be eligible for this award, the nominated club must be a current USA Taekwondo member in good standing.
SENIOR ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT
CLICK TO APPLY, opens in a new tabThis award celebrates the club that goes above and beyond to attract, engage, and inspire senior athletes (ages 17+). This club creates a welcoming and motivating training environment where athletes can continue to grow, train, and compete—keeping their passion for Taekwondo alive and thriving.
To be eligible for this award, the nominated club must be a current USA Taekwondo member in good standing.
Program Information
Nominated candidates must demonstrate outstanding excellence in working with athletes both inside and outside their club. Ideal nominees will embody the spirit of Taekwondo through their leadership, integrity, and passion for helping others succeed.
Nomination Criteria:
- Show consistent respect for all athletes, parents, and officials
- Display genuine passion and enthusiasm for the sport
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to helping athletes of all abilities reach their potential
- Foster a fun, positive, and motivating environment where enjoyment of the sport drives all they do
- Maintain a current USA Taekwondo membership in good standing

The Club of Excellence Award Winners will be announced on December 1, 2025.
Award Winners Receive:
- Club of Excellence Award Banner for display at the award winning USATKD Club. This banner will include the Club of Excellence Award Name, USATKD logo and Personalized USATKD Club Logo/Name.
- Recognition on the USA Taekwondo Website, Social Media Channels and USATKD MM1:00 (Monday Morning Minute) email.
Award Winner Details:
- There will be only 1 (unique) USATKD Club winner per Award Category.
- USATKD Clubs may be nominated each year for the opportunity to earn the Club of Excellence Award.
- Once an award category is earned by a particular USATKD Club, that club may be nominated and earn a Club of Excellence Award in a different award category the following year.
