Paralympic Taekwondo Head Coach and Assistant Coach Application

(October 16, 2021) - USA Taekwondo will be accepting applications for the Paralympic Taekwondo Head Coach and Assistant Coach. With the recent inclusion of Taekwondo in the Paralympic Games, USA Taekwondo is looking to expand its Paralympic program. If you have a passion for Paralympic Taekwondo and consider yourself a positive inclusive leader, this position may be for you!

The USATKD will select a coach in good standing with USA Taekwondo who has the best potential to work with all of the USA Para Taekwondo staff to grow the sport of Para TKD in the USA.

Paralympic Head Coach will be responsible for coaching, managing, supervising and recruiting for the Paralympic Taekwondo program. Head Coach will conduct practices, instruct athletes in game strategies and techniques, and provide annual competition training and competition schedules for optimal performance. Head Coach will report to the USATKD Director of High Performance.

Paralympic Assistant Coach Position assists the head coach as needed. Assistant Coach will also be responsible for recruiting new Paralympic Taekwondo athletes.
