Every athlete deserved to be safe, supported, and empowered. USA Taekwondo is committed to ensuring that every member has the opportunity to enjoy taekwondo free from abuse and misconduct. In collaboration with the U.S. Center for SafeSport and the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPE), USA Taekwondo is leading the charge to end emotional, physical, and sexual abuse in the sport of taekwondo. We are building the Safest Place to Play by creating a culture of respect, accountability, and empowerment for ALL athletes - on and off the mat.
We encourage all members of USA Taekwondo to read the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code and Revision History in full and commit to upholding its standards. Every member of USA Taekwondo has the right and responsibility to report concerns. If you see, hear, or experience behavior that threatens safety, respect, or integrity, report it. Together, we can stop abuse and misconduct before it takes root.
HOW TO REPORT MISCONDUCT
REPORT SEXUAL MISCONDUCT TO THE U.S. CENTER FOR SAFESPORT
If you have reasonable suspicion of sexual misconduct, make a report electronically, at no cost, the U.S. Center for SafeSport or call phone 833-5US-SAFE (587 7233).
Reporters may report anonymously and there are no associated costs, fees, or other financial barriers to submit a report on the website. The U.S. Center for SafeSport has exclusive jurisdiction over allegations of sexual misconduct.
REPORT NON-SEXUAL MISCONDUCT TO USA TAEKWONDO
USA Taekwondo handles all reports of non-sexual misconduct, including harassment, hazing, bullying, physical or emotional misconduct, or a violation of the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Non-sexual misconduct may be reported to USA Taekwondo, anonymously and at no cost. Any report received by USA Taekwondo that falls within the Center's exclusive jurisdiction will be forwarded to the Center. The Center has discretionary jurisdiction over non-sexual misconduct allegations. To make a report, click here.
