Sr. Pan American Championship Open Fight Off

(April 3, 2021) - Due to the recently announced Sr. Pan American Championship, USATKD will host an open fight off event to name the Sr. Pan Am Championship Team the weekend of May 8, 2021 in conjunction with the -57 Olympic alternate fight off in Colorado, Colorado Springs at the National Center of Excellence. Schedule will accommodate athletes who intend to participate in both events.
The Sr. Pan Am Championships is a World Taekwondo G-4 Level event and will be held in Cancun, Mexico June 4-9, 2021. The Mexico Open, a World Taekwondo G-1 level event will be held immediately following the Pan Am Championships (note: cadet and junior divisions have been cancelled for this event).
Athletes who are named to the 2021 Pan Am Championship team will receive a waiver to directly qualify for the National Championships. Due to timing of the event, athletes in the West Coast region who chose to compete in the Mexico Open will be allowed to petition to compete in either the Central or East Coast Grand Prix to qualify for Nationals.
