Charlotte, NC (November 2025) – USA Taekwondo proudly celebrates the news that the United States has been ranked the #1 nation overall in the world by World Taekwondo for the second consecutive year, and #2 in the sport performance category, behind only Korea. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the collective strength of the entire U.S. Taekwondo program — from athletes, coaches, and staff to the valued partners and sponsors who make this accomplishment possible.

One of the key partnerships that has shaped this success is with the U.S. Performance Center (USPC) in Charlotte, North Carolina. Through world-class sport science, cutting-edge training environments, and unwavering collaboration, USPC has been instrumental in elevating U.S. Taekwondo athletes and our nation to the top.
